Our Multimedia Curriculum Symposium will be held on Friday, March 5th from 2-4:30pm at Lake Washington Technical College, who has one of the area’s leading Multimedia and Design Production programs.This is an opportunity for our HS multimedia faculty to hear about the many new changes at each of our colleges who offer Media programs and have partnered with us to create college credit opportunities for your students. We will have a representative from Lake Washington Technical College, Bellevue College and Shoreline Community College on hand to give us an overview and update of the changes and the fantastic new opportunities that have been created for students. C3N and NEVAC recognized our local WAVE scholarship recipients in May at the NSD administration building. Congratulations to all of this year's recipients! View WTB announcement here!
The Third Annual Careers in IT event (open flyer) at Bellevue Community College on April 29th was a great success. Seven industry representatives spoke to over 150 local studnets and educators. One lucky student from Sno-Isle took home a brand new X-box! Wow! Thank you to everyone who supported this event and those in attendance!

The 30th Annual Washington Women in Trades Career Fair was March 27th at the Seattle Center. CTE Director Donna Bielstein brought a bus full of female students to last year's event and said every one of them loved it! "There are not only booths from several trades, organizations and unions, but there are hands-on activities for them as well." More information is available at www.WAWomenInTrades.com
